Virginia Beach

It's probably my best off day ever over here cuz we headed to Virginia Beach and it was all sun, sand and sea! We had so much fun swimming and jumping at waves. Weijie is DA man. With a lifeguard certificate, he brought 4 girls out to sea and brought us back cuz the waves were pretty strong and we kept getting swept back to shore while trying to go further out to stand on some sand platform. SW, he saved our lives. Lol.

It was a 2 hour bus journey to the beach, and 2 hours back, organized by the our employer for the international students i.e. us, and the barbaric Europeans.

It was fun, fun, and fun. I'm too lazy to type anymore and can't think of anything else to say.. so enjoy the photos. Just arrived at Virginia Beach (VB)

After swimming and hanging out, we rented 3 bicycles that can take up to 6 people with 4 persons pedalling and 2 freeloaders. It was quite a good workout.
Don't ask me why, but the shops sell really ugly postcards.

Will be going to Short Pump Mall *again* tomorrow with WY cuz there's a company bus to bring us there. Yea, I have 2 off days in a row and WY's damn sweet to swap her off day to accompany me, and also to go shopping lar. =)

Morning Call

Charmaine and Veron gave me and Weiyee a surprise morning call today! I've not heard their voices for a month now and it felt really good to talk to them =) The incoming calls to my hostel room is free, so people who want to call me and Weiyee, can get the phone number from me ok? =)

Working these days have been quite tiring due to insufficient sleep. 5 - 6 hours a day aren't enough for me to stay awake for the rest of the day. I can doze off while standing at the platform of the Eiffel Tower. I used to be able to tolerate long working hours in the park, but I've been requesting to go home earlier because I'm so tired and there's no determination to carry on even if it's for another 2 hours or so.

I've been sleep-talking too. Kept waking Weiyee up cuz I wanted to check restraints in my sleep. See how work is messing me up.

So I left the park early today, and had the best ice-cream ever. Cold Stone Creamery. The ice cream rocked. Weijie, Swee Lai, Jean and I had the Cookie Mintster and Banana Caramel Crunch, and it was AWESOME. They have the plain ice cream flavours, and they add the cookies and bananas and what nots and they mix it on the spot and it was really damn gooooooooooooood. =D And it costs only USD$2.70 per person. Absolutely yummy.

Okay, I'll not be lazy and go start my entry on the hostel room.

I clocked a grand amount of 2h01m today cuz I got sent home early due to the sucky weather.

And I'm happy cuz I spent the rest of the day eating and shopping. =)

Rainbow

I saw a rainbow, a really beautiful and big one yesterday on the bus as I left the park, and I wonder if Lena saw it too.

Worked for only 2.5 hours today. Felt chilly in the sun and my head was heavy. Quit for the day and ate some medicine I took from first aid that says non-asprin. Maybe I'm falling sick. Maybe I cried too much.

Can't take my mind off the matter. Think no one can. I really miss Lena, and I really miss home and all of you.

Please take care my friends. We have to be strong. Crying doesn't mean we're not strong.

Hey

Hey peeps. I have nothing much to say. Been busy working these days and nothing really interesting happened. Time passes so slowly in the theme park when there're very few guests. Can't complain much cuz that means we have a lot of slack time.

The weather here is getting much hotter.

My next off day is a Monday again. And there's no one else who has an off on Monday. Am I lucky or what. Going to request to change my off day. Hope it goes well. I really don't want to spend my off day with myself.
